Road markings with conventional materials

The road markings with conventional materials are executed with classic paint, based on organic solvents or with ecological water based paints, ensuring a normal operation period of 6 to 12 months. For ensuring the visibility during the night, on the painted surface there are added glass beads. The conventional road markings are characterised by: very good adherence on bitumen, preservation of the colour, good resistance at humidity and salts, high retro-reflection grade due to the glass beads.

Hot–applied thermoplastic markings

The thermoplastic materials are used due to their resistance, on highways/speedways, on public roads, national or local, ensuring a normal operation period of 2 years.

The use of these materials allows markings of longitudinal (lines – continuous or interrupted), cross-roads or others (walk passages, stop lines, parkings).

These premanufactured products are used for various markings (orientation arrows, inscriptions, symbols, text messages) on highways/speedways and on public roads, for parking and bicycle lanes, where a rapid application and high warning are necessary for avoiding accidents.
The premanufactured products for road markings are formed of elements which will be mounted on place by heating them with a burner. The preformed products contain glass beads but, in order to increase retroreflection, an additional layer of glass beads is applied on top.

The antiskid type carpets have been designed due to necessity for walking passages and special bicycle lanes. The system ensure a coloured, durable surface, with antiskid materials, which reduce the breaking distance, ideal for “calming” the high traffic zones near the schools, hospitals etc., for an increased safety and protection. The used colours are red and green.

Two component systems for road marking

The two component materials are marking products, formed of two components, which will be mixed at the application moment. The two component materials will be applied at the environment temperature. The retro-reflection is ensured by the glass beads on the surface. They have a normal operation duration of 2 years.
